Narendra Modi was born on 17 September 1950 in Vadnagar, Gujarat. From humble beginnings, he worked at his family’s tea stall and later joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), which shaped his early political and social outlook.
Modi rose through the ranks of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), serving as Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014. In May 2014, he became the Prime Minister of India and was re-elected in 2019.
